This is one of our biggest volunteer projects yet! We need handy volunteers to help us build two greenhouses for our farm. A wonderful greenhouse construction company will be there to assist and manage the project as volunteers help use hand tools to construct the greenhouses.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift to help complete this project. We will have ten different days to choose from. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own hand tools and work gloves if they have them.
Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, bug-spray, and wear closed toed shoes.
How to Get There:
We are located on 32 Shattuck Rd in Hadley (at the intersection between Shattuck Rd and Gooseberry Lane, you may have to type in Gooseberry Lane if you are using GPS). As you approach the farm, you’ll see a small purple food bank sign in front of the woods. You can drive down the farm road and just make sure to bear right at the fork.
