Who We Are
The Food Bank purchased a second Food Bank Farm in Hadley with the assistance of the Kestrel Land Trust in 2020. The goal of our Food Bank Farms is to provide equitable opportunities for new and emerging farmers while increasing the amount of food the Food Bank can produce and provide to Western Massachusetts.
What We Do
We will have volunteer opportunities from April into the Fall for individuals and groups to enjoy and take part in a variety of daily farm tasks. Through the practice of sustainable agriculture techniques that volunteers can learn about and participate in, along with tractor-led farming by our Farm Manager, we will be able to distribute more produce to the community in 2026.
